Why not a study on Religion and Crime?

What do you think of a study on the relationship between Religion and Crime in every district of India as an interdisciplinary project done by a group of universities, both public and private?

This idea is inspired by an ICSSR seminar on
'How to understand Radical Islam and live with it'.
