Thy name is Intellectual Coolies!
"Fundamentally, we are unclaimed, orphan offshoots of 19 century western liberal striving. We start and end and exist in that narrow slice of time - the last ten yrs after Adam Smith died. Leaving us forever colonised.
We drift with European fads; Foucoult , Derrida whoever and quickly return to our shell. This snared indian intellectual being is incapable of philosophising. Putting it crudely, we can but merely sing to this or that master - cognising, interpreting interacting and sublimating the spirituality of our existence is beyond us.
Bound to templates, we are the intellectual coolies."
