Today its JNU, tomorrow(2025) it will be Pvt Universities...India's very own Ivy League!

Myself:
I am working in a govt university and have worked with pvt institutions too. Wait for another 10 years, you will be asking a reverse question, Prof Kumar.
But I will not end up with Ha Ha Ha Ha!
Why?
Because both the sectors have their roles cut out and may both compete with the best in the world rather than suffer from the frog-in-the-well syndrome.

I feel inspired by the IVY league universities with pvt institutions in the main. Why can't the pvt institutions outcompete the govt ones? What about the pvt schools and some colleges in India?

Why was the trioka of liberalization-privatization-globalization adopted and govt control of industry forsaken in India?

By the way,  what's is relative significance of the JNU Social Sciences etc in that NIFR ranking? The disciplines that are known more for ideological pamphleteering rather than prospective and positive research?

In this sense, JNU's top ranking hides more than it says...
The Ideological Pamphleteering and Debauchery in Social Sciences is more than made up by the Pure Sciences whose faculty and students are known for their nationalistic moorings.
The Pure Sciences faculty and students were branded as UNSCIENTIFIC by their pamphleteering Social Science counterparts!

I bet, in 2025, the top ranks will be dominated by the Pvt Universities.
