JNU was never an inclusive place. But Kanhaiya has definitely brought disgrace to JNUSU by virtually falling at the feet of the Fodder Scamster Lalu Prasad.

Unlike Kanhaiya, the former JNUSU President late Chandrasekhar--who was murdered by Lalu's RJD goons in mid 1990s-- was the gem of a person who was both rooted and had the helicopter view of the Indian society.

He had left NDA to do student politics and started his political career with CPI's student wing AISF in Patna in early 80s when I had come into his contact in Patna college for a few months. Later he came to JNU and after a few years joined AISA.
