Nehru was the weakest of the  political stalwarts of his time and, intellectually , not more than an ALSO-RAN in front of #Bose, #Patel and #Ambedkar.

But he had a sure edge over the rest: he was 'European at heart and Indian only in Flesh and Blood' ! Yes he kept nobody in dark about it.

And, for this he was well-rewarded both by his #British Masters and Gandhji.

Why #Gandhi went the #Nehru way?

Was it, among other things, because of his proximity to the British?
Did Gandhi allow himself to be  BLACKMAILED in the  national interest?
