One Nation One Law and India's Muslims
One Nation One Law and India's Muslims
◆ Unlike Pakistan, India is not a theocratic state. Pakistan was created for the people and by the people who wanted a country for Muslims with a constitution based on Islamic principles. But in a religion-neutral or secular country, #OneNationOneLaw is the norm that ensures equality and fraternity, the much-needed adhesives for a modern state.
◆ And, this is what the Directive Principles of the Constitution of India aim at. The #VotebankPolitics comes in the way and this can be tackled through awareness.
◆ At whatever cost, the #UCC ( Uniform Civil Code) has to find a place sooner or later in a country like ours. The sooner the Muslim middle class sees the writing on the wall the better for them and the country as a whole.
◆ In any case, where are the women voices? How can men only have them heard on women's issues? Any law is like a software that stays relevant only till it is upscalable in synch with times.
◆ Globally today, Islam has become almost synonymous with violence and ultimately the Western world will use it to their advantage if Islamic leaders fail to realize that, in the new knowledge-driven world order, the brute sword power including the LONE WOOLF STRATEGY will not help them conquer the world of Kafirs or non-believers (150 crore Muslims vs 600 crore non-Muslims).
◆ Every attack by an Islamic terrorist organization has weakened Muslims by pushing them away from education and other advantages that they deserve.
◆ Now non-Muslims the world over are seriously debating the inplications of concepts such as
●Jehad Fi Sabeelillah,
●Qattal Fi Sabeelillah,
●Kafir Wajibul Qatl,
●Ghazwa-e-Hind,
●Darulislam and
●Darulharab
which create serious doubts in their minds regarding the collective Muslim response in case of a crisis( facing the nations considered Darulharab).
