The Opposition that is in a hurry to commit suicide with aplomb!

One can forsee the real opposition emerging from within the BJP etc in times to come. Looked at from the perspective of Political Power vs the Power of Establishment, it is abundantly clear that the BJP-led NDA represents only the Political Power at the centre while the Congress-led UPA represents the Power of Establishment that has its roots in the policies, strategies and actions of the British colonialists who wanted to keep Indians not only politically dependent but metally enslaved too.

Here the Power of Establishment is represented by the hitherto dominant thought and the institutions lending legitimacy to that thought that informs the decision-makers and the process of decision-making at all levels (Media, Academia, Bureaucracy, Judiciary, Legislatures, etc).
On the other hand, the Political Power is represented by the party or the alliance with the enough majority in the legislature to form the government.

Thus , from the perspective of the Establishment in today's India, the BJP-led NDA is already working as an Opposition Alliance. In fact, it is discharging a dual role: from the perspective of Political Power, it is the ruling alliance while that from the Power of Establishment, it is in the Opposition.

Similarly, the Congress-led UPA is also playing a dual role. It is the ruling alliance from the perspective of the Power of Establishment but is the official opposition from the perspective of the Political Power which, in connivance with the Secular-Left-Evangelist-Jehadi media, is working hard to be one with the India Breaking Forces with no love lost for democracy.

In this sense, the current opposition is writing its Epitaph with aplomb. They will surely be entering the annals of history for the way in and the courage with which they 'executed their suicide'! © ChandrakantPSingh
