बेहतर भविष्य के लिये वर्त्तमान से गुहार लगाती विरासत: काहे कहली‌-ईया

आप के पास कहने के लिये ढेर सारी बातें हों और सुनने वाला कोई न हो तो आप क्या करेंगे? खुद से बाते करेंगे ? आपको विश्वास हो कि आपकी बात सार्थक है लेकिन जिससे कहनी है उसे फुर्सत नहीं है क्योंकि वह बेसम्हार विकास के चकाचौंध की गिरफ्त में है जैसे कोई अफीम के नशे में चूर गड्ढे और सड़क में अंतर न करे. आज यही स्थिति लोक संस्कृति और लोक विरासत की है जिसे भोजपुरी की जानीमानी लेखिका डा.आशारानी लाल ने अपनी स्वर्गीया ईया को लिखी पातियों (काहे कहली ईया) के जरिये व्यक्त किया है. ईया यानी दादी या माँ जो बात-बात पर टोकती थीं और सब को जीवनरस में पगे अनुभवसिक्त उदाहरणों से सही-गलत का अंतर बताती चलती थी. उन्हे इस बात की फिकर नहीं होती थी कि कोई आकर उनसे पूछे फिर वो सही बात बतायेंगी.


आज की ईया को कोई सुननेवाला नहीं मिल रहा तो वो अपनी स्वर्गीया ईया से ही गुफ्तगू करने लगी कि ऐसा क्यों हो रहा है कि लोग उनकी बातों को बेकार मानने लगे हैं ? अगर उनकी बातें बेकार थीं तो फिर ईया के मुख से वे निकलीं ही क्यों?


ईया याद करती हैं कि पहले इंसान तो इंसान, ‘ चिरई-चुरुंग,माल-मवेसी, कुकर-बिलार ’… सबसे लोगों को लगाव होता था और सबके लिये खाने का हिस्सा निकाल कर रखते थे. होली के दिन ‘होरी’ गानेवाले लोग हरेक ग्रामीण के दरवाज़े जाकर एक अंतिम गीत जरूर गाते थे:


सदा आनंद रहे यही द्वारे मोहन खेले होरी हो...


आज लोगों को परिवार में ही एक-दूसरे के लिये फुर्सत नहीं है. गाँव उजाड़ होते जा रहे हैं और विकास खूब हो रहा है. तकनीकी क्रांति ने पूरी दुनिया को एक विश्वगाँव में तब्दील कर दिया है लेकिन इंसान और इंसान के बीच की दूरी और बढ़ती जा रही है. लोगों का जैसे उद्येश्य हो गया हो कि जितना हो सके अपने और अपने एकल परिवार के लिये उपभोग की चीज़ें जुटाना; और बस उपभोग के लिये उपभोग करते जाना जैसे मनुष्य और जानवर में कोइ अंतर ही ना हो. ईया की चिंता है कि साधन को हमारे परम्परासिद्ध गवईं समाज में साध्य का दर्ज़ा इतनी तेज़ी से कैसे मिल रहा है? लगता है शहर ने गाँव को जैसे डंस लिया हो. कभी अज्ञेय ने साँप को सम्बोधित करते हुये कहा था:


शहर में रहे नहीं...फिर डंसना कहाँ से सीखा ?


भारत में शहर किस चीज़ का पर्याय है? सभ्यता का, शिक्षा का, विकास का. ले दे कर जीवन में कुछ अच्छा करना है तो या तो शहर की नकल करो या फिर शहर में ही आ बसो. और शहरों ने क्या किया है? गंगा और यमुना जैसी नदियों को नाला में तब्दील कर दिया है. नेह-नाता को बाज़ार की चीज़ बना दिया है. फटाफट काम आनेवाली जानकारी ने विवेक को अपदस्थ कर दिया है.


आज की ईया को ये बातें हज़म नहीं हो रहीं उधर अपनी पृथ्वी पर कोई उन्हें भाव नहीं दे रहा. फिर उन्होंने लगाया डाइरेक्ट कनेक्शन स्वर्ग में जहाँ उनकी अपनी ईया बैठी हैं!


लोक और शास्त्र


भोजपुरी बहुत ही जीवंत भाषा है. यहाँ की लोकसंस्कृति समृद्ध है. सदियों इसने अपनी जीवंतता से क्षेत्र के शहरों के ‘शास्त्र’ को निर्जीव होने से बचाया है वैसे ही जैसे पूरे भारत में सदियों से लोक और शास्त्र के आदान-प्रदान ने परम्परा को नवीनता और नवीनता को संदर्भ और सार्थकता अता की है. लेकिन अब गाँव में शहर से सिर्फ आदान हो रहा है और अभाव में भी आनंद मनाने वाली गँवई सामूहिकता के प्राणवायु की जगह शहरी भौतिक समृद्धि एवं आत्मकेंद्रिकता ले रही है.


आज का शास्त्र इसी शहर के ईर्द गिर्द चक्कर काटता है जो अपना जीवनरस यूरोपीय चिंताधारा से खींचता है. उस चिंताधारा से जहाँ पृथ्वी के सभी जीव-जंतु और संसाधन मनुष्य के उपभोग के लिये हैं. इस सोच ने पह्ले यूरोपीय राष्ट्रवाद और सेकुलरवाद को जना, फिर धर्म की करुणा से च्युत हो दो विश्वयुद्धों को. इसकी सबसे घातक परिणति है मनुष्य का महज एक उपभोग की मशीन बन जाना और एकाकीपन का शिकार हो मृत्यु से पहले ही अपने को अवांछित समझ ‘मरा हुआ’ घोषित कर देना.


लेकिन ईया तो सजीव-निर्जीव सबका का नेग-जोग रखती थी, उसके संसार में सबकुछ समाया हुआ था और जीवन का एक-एक पल जीना चाहती थी. पितरपक्ष में बिना नागा पुरखों को उनकी आत्मा की शांति के लिये पिंडदान करवाती थी. सही मायने में मृत्यु के बाद भी कोई हमारी स्मृति और विधि-विधान से ओझल नहीं होता था. अतीत और वर्त्तमान मानों एक ही सिक्के के दो पहलू हों. पता नहीं कितनी पीढ़ियां एक साथ जीती थीं.


जहाँ काल खंड-खंड नहीं होता


लोकजीवन की प्रतीक ईया भारतीय सनातन दृष्टि की भी वाहिका हैं. यहाँ कालबोध एकरेखीय नहीं है. इतिहास और वर्तमान कंधे से कंधा मिलाकर एक नये भविष्य के लिये और साझा सपनों के लिये संघर्ष करते हैं. यहाँ अभाव भी आनंद की बारिश कर जाता है. आकस्मिक नहीं कि हमारे सर्वोत्तम गीत लोकगीत हैं जो सुख और दुख को विछिन्न करके नहीं देखते बल्कि वे लोकधुन रूपी गाड़ी के दो पहिये हैं जिनके बिना लोकगीत की रसानुभुति पूरी नहीं होती. इसी कालबोध का एक और पह्लू यह मान्यता भी है कि जाहे जिस मजहब को मानो पहुंचना तो परमपिता परमेश्वर के पास ही है. वैसे ही जैसे रास्ता कोई भी हो, पहुंचना तो सबको उसी जगह है. यानी रास्ते अनेक हैं, मंज़िल एक है. सत्य एक है, उसे देखने के तरीके अलग-अलग हैं:


एकोसद्विप्रा बहुधा वदंति...


लेकिन पश्चिमी नकल पर आज लोक और शास्त्र, गाँव और शहर , शिक्षा और व्यवहार, अतीत और वर्तमान, व्यष्टि और समष्टि को साथ लेकर चलनेवाला समावेशी भरतीय मन मानों अपने ही घर में शरणार्थी हो गया है.


अतीत होते वर्तमान की जिद


ईया अपनी उम्र के अंतिम पड़ाव पड़ हैं. उन्हें अपनी वारिस की तलाश है: एक नयी ईया की जो जीवन के विश्वविद्यालय से ऊपजे ज्ञान और विवेक को अगली पीढी को सौंप सके. मौखिक परम्परा से मिली थाती को कायदे से तो किसी को सुनाकर ही सौंपना चहिये. कोई न मिला तो ईया ने 31 ‘पातियों’ के जरिये अपनी बात कह डाली ताकि पुरखे-पितरों की विरासत नष्ट होने से बच जाये और उपभोक्तावादी आंधी के पितरपक्ष में ‘पिंडदान’ का संतानधर्म भी निभ जाए. फिर जब ये आंधी थमे, और लोग अपनी जड़ों की ओर लौंटें तो नेह-नाता-विरासत से शून्य शहरी महलों पर गवंई खंडहरों से प्रकट होकर पुरखे-पितर जीवनरस की बारिश कर दें. ऐसी बारिश जिसकी तेज़ धार में साधन को साध्य मान बैठी अपसंस्कृति के रक्तबीज बह जाएं.


कुल मिलाकर टटका अतीत को अतीत होने के कगार पर खरे वर्त्तमान द्वारा लिखी ये पातियाँ स्वयम्भू शहरी सभ्य समाज की नकल करते गाँव से विमर्श भी हैं और आनेवाली पीढियों के बेह्तर भविष्य के लिये चेतावनी-भरा आर्तनाद भी कि संभल जाओ वरना:

Akbar and Khusro are Kafirs, Aurangzeb and Tughlaq Ghazis...why?

Being born as a Hindu is incidental or at best a gift. But continuing to remain a Hindu in the face of followers of Book-based Faiths (especially Islam & Marxism) that believe in MY WAY OR HIGH WAY is more like a curse as you have to tolerate people who are required by their Faith to denounce Common Sense in public life. Since most of those around you may display lack of common sense in their dealings with you, the gift of common sense may land you into unimaginable agony and pain.

Not that every Hindu is endowed with this rare gift of Common Sense. Statistically speaking, his chances of having common sense is as good or as bad as any other faithful. However, the mental conditioning of accepting only , say Islam, as the Right Faith and Prophet Mohammad as the Last Messenger (Prophet) of God reduces the ability of its adherents to accommodate others or learn from others. Their universal brotherhood extends only to those who believe in Islam. No wonder, the Muslim rulers imposed Jazia on non-Muslims or Kafirs. You will find many references of Babur proudly recording in his autobiography (Baburnama or Tuzk-i-Babri)  how he was impressed by the design of a temple or its garden in Gwalior but the Idols were a sore to his eyes and so he ordered their demolition.

Notably, Babur is a typical case though otherwise one of the greatest writers in Turkish language and also one of the greatest warriors of all times. One can't resist comparing Babur with great Urdu poet Eqbal who penned Saare Jahan Se Achchha Hindustan Hamara and later became the originator of the two-nation theory based on religion!
This is an example of what an Exclusive Faith can do to its wise and enlightened followers: Babur and Iqbal. True, Akbar is an exception. But most of the Muslims consider him more like a Kafir and hold Auranzeb in very high esteem. The same Auranzeb who reintroduced Jazia more than 100 years after it was abolished by Akbar and was responsible for the demolition of Mathura and Kashi temples. Most Sufism including Amir Khusro are considered near, if not complete, Kafirs.

Kashmiri Muslims : Nizam-e-Mustafa vs Sufi Ways of Life

Kashmiri Muslims got what they wanted: property of their  Kashmiri Pundit neighbours & a mostly -Muslim  or Hindu-free valley with the help of PAK Jehadis. But they didn't want these Jehadis to continue for fear of curbs on their liberal life style unlike what is found in most of the Islamic countries.

Their liking for a liberal life style is what came to them through Sufi saints such as Sheikh Nuruddin and what is inherent in the Hindu way of life.

However, their craving for an only-Muslim or Hindu-free valley is perfectly in line with what the Holy Qur'an and Hadith command them to do: to get rid of Kafirs to establish Nizam-e-Mustafa or the rule of, for and by those only who have complete faith( Musallam Imaan) in what has been revealed by the Almighty  Allah through His Last Prophet Mohammad.

MARX: THE PROPHET

Marx was an Economist, Sociologist, Philosopher  and Prophet rolled into one who used the language of advertising to script that great Pamphlet popularly known as COMMUNIST MANIFESTO which catapulted him to a Dream-Merchant who is doomed to meet the same fate as any other Prophet at the hands of His disciples who choose the path that suits to their base instincts and is also apparently or actually in synch with what the Prophet did or said.

Decoding Collective Muslim Mind: Peshawar Attack, Paris Attack, Ethnic Cleansing of Hindus in Kashmir

Lakhs of Kashmiri Pundits were forced to leave the Valley 25 years ago on 19th January 1990. The Muslim-majority Kashmir Valley turned into an indulgent mute spectator to the Ethnic Cleansing and Exodus of its Hindu minority neighbours. To camouflage this the latter were not termed as Hindus but Kashmiri Pundits!

Contrast this with the fact that in the rest of India even during worst of communally tense situations, never ever minorities (Muslims, Christians etc.) were forced to leave their homes for good.

There was no agitation over this in the Hindu-majority India because the successive governments and the media put the blame on the victims themselves for the Muslim vote banks country over. And, the rest of 'Hindu' India bought this theory so easily.

In the same state of J&K, in the December 2014 elections to the Assembly, BJP got the highest vote share and emerged as the second largest party with no single party in majority. But all the seats it won fall in the Hindu-dominated Jammu region where Muslims do constitute a significant minority. Its efforts at forming government were slammed as COMMUNAL on the ground that it didn't win a single seat from now -nearly-only-Muslim valley (from where Hindus were thrown out in 1989-90) and government led by BJP would mean an assault on SECULAR Kashmir and its Kashmiriat , that is, the culture of living in harmony with people of different faiths!

Case-I

This raises a few questions that can be considered as a case for further enquiry into the behaviour of Muslims as a collective or community bound together by a Faith( Islam):

• Doesn't Kashmiriat mean LIVING IN HARMONY WITH MUSLIMS ONLY in today's Kashmir?
• Does this situation fit into a pattern in terms of response of Muslims as a majority community to the non- Muslims as minorities?
• Does it form part of a pan-Islamic collective behavior pattern irrespective of whether Muslims are a majority or minority?

Case-II

But before answering these questions, it is pertinent to remember how the Hindu majority has behaved both politically and culturally:

• They didn't vote to power the Right Wing Hindu Party(as they call it) JANSANGH  till it merged with all the splinter groups of major political parties that came together to form JANATA PARTY in 1977.
• For the last 25 years or so, the three Super Stars of Bollywood are Salman Khan , Amir Khan and Shahrukh Khan. No three Hindu Super Stars ever simultaneously occupied the Mind Space of Hindu-dominated Hindustan for such a long period.
• In post-independent India, members of minority Muslim and Christian communities have risen to positions of power including President, Chief Minister, Field Marshal, Chif Justice et al.

Comparing Case -I with Case- II leads one to ask few more questions with regard to collective Muslim behaviour when they are not in majority:

• Do they engage in honest exchange of ideas and consequent give and take on all fronts (political, religious, cucultural, social, etc) or have a strategy to extract the maximum from the majority by hook or by crookcrook?

Conclusion: 3-stage Islamic Terror Strategy

Juxtaposing Indian and global experiences leads one to conclude that there is a pattern to the collective Muslim response to the challenge of living together with the non-Muslims. This is best explained by the acts of terror in the name of Islam and the roots of which lie in the Holy Koran and the Hadith:

1. In the Muslim world, earlier those who killed people of Faiths-other-than-Islam were considered doing a Godly duty.
2.Later, when there were not many of the Kafirs left to be killed or converted, the Godly duty embraced non-Sunnis such as Shia, Khoja and Ahmadia Muslims.

But by this time came Internet & Mobile preceded by faster and cheaper means of transport along with relatively hassle free movement of labour (professionals) and capital resulting in educated and skilled Muslims moving to the world with non-Muslim majority populations that restrained the conservative and restrictive Muslim way of life.

But does Islam with its doctrine of having the Last Prophet and The Last Word allow its adherents to accept this ?

3. To deal with this, they came up with three-pronged strategy as learned from Hadith(the Book about how Prophet Mohammad lived and what he did) :

a. Tolerate democracy till in microscopic minority and without financial stronghold;
b. Once with the stage(a) crossed, terrorize the locals through merciless killings and still play victims citing relevant verses from Quran about how Islam is all about peace and equality;
c. Once the necessary political, military and financial muscle acquired, give the rest only two choices: Conversion or Death.In exceptional circumstances, they can be allowed to leave enmasse (exodus) as was the case with Kashmiri Pundits in the Jammu and Kashmir state of India.

The world today is experiencing one or the other or even a hybrid of the aforesaid stages of Islamic terror. The only country that has succeeded in countering this 3-stage Islamic Terror Strategy  (3-SITS) is Isreal because it is surrounded by hostile Islamic nations and has developed the intellectual acumen to accurately guesstimate the enemy's strategy and action plan and preempt the enemy's attacks by attacking them first.
Take any example-- 9/11 USA, 26/11 India, Peshwar Killings (Pakistan) or Charlie Mebdo Killings (Paris Shooting) and try applying the 3-SITS model, you will have logical answers.

In the latest case of Charlie Hebdo, it is 3(b) while that in the case of Peshwar Killings it was 2.
In evolved and mature democracies, it is almost unfathomable that such a strategy can be adopted to enforce the last word of Allah as communicated through His last Prophet, that is, Mohammad.
But there is no better way of understanding all this than reading the Holy Quran along with Hadith.

The Hadith, being all about the Deeds of the Prophet and thus to be replicated without question, ends up as the most important tool in the hands of the uneducated, ill-educated or a-literate.

धर्मांतरण और 'घरवापसी' (सेकुलरदास की व्यथा-कथा: भाग-1)

आज बंदानवाज़ सेकुलर दास का फोन आया-जल्दी मिलो।कभी इस तरह से उन्होंने सीधे फोन नहीं किया था।उनका असिस्टेंट करता था और कुछ इंतज़ार के बाद ही वे लाइन पर आते थे।मैं तेज़ कदमों से नज़र बचाते उनके सामने हाज़िर हुआ। वे क्रोध और चिंता से पस्त हुए जा रहे थे।मुद्दा था-आगरा में धर्मांतरण से मुसलमान हुए लोगों का वापस हिंदू होना।

बोले,'तुम कहते हो धर्मांतरण अहिंदू है, फिर यह सब क्यों!?
मैं पसोपेश में था क्या कहूँ? यहाँ विचारधारा से ज्यादा सेकुलरदास की हालत महत्वपूर्ण थी।सो मैंने कहा: कोई नहीं, हिन्दुओं के जातपांत से पाला पड़ेगा तो फिर से मुसलमान बन जाएँगे। इस पर वे बिफर गए-अरे मुसलमानों में भी जातपांत कम नहीं।मुझे नहीं लगता वे वापस मुसलमान बनेंगे।

अब क्या किया जाए।
सेकुलरदास बड़े निरीह से अपने हाथों में सर लिए मेरे सामने थे और मैं कुछ भी कहने के लिए बेबस।
तभी एक आइडिया आया-चाचू, अगले चुनाव में काँग्रेस की वापसी होगी।फिर ये लोग दुबारा इस्लाम कबूल कर लेंगे।

यह सुनते ही उनकी आँखें छलछला गईं। कहने लगे-
देखो मेरा मन रखने के लिए तुम झूठ -पर -झूठ बोले जा रहे हो।काँग्रेस वह प्लेन है जिसका पायलट पप्पू है और मोद्याँधी के कारण राजनीतिक मौसम एकदम प्रतिकूल है।ये उड़ना दूर, टेकआॅफ भी नहीं कर पाएगा।
मैं भी कहाँ हिम्मत हारनेवाला था।सो अंतिम अस्त्र चलाने का लोभ रोक नहीं पाया-'आप' धीरे-धीरे काँग्रेस की जगह ले लेगी। देरसबेर सेकुलर- वामपंथी भी यहाँ ठेहा लगाने आ जाएँगे।हो सकता है दिल्ली में दोबारा उनकी सरकार भी बन जाए।आपको क्या परेशानी?
सेकुलरदास इस बार गंभीर हो गए।बोले-आप उस प्रेमी की तरह है जिसे प्रेमिका का इतना प्यार और विश्वास मिला कि वो नरभसिया गया और अकारण उसकी ऐसी तैसी पर उतर आया।जब होश आया तो प्रेमिका थी, उसका प्रेम भी था लेकिन विश्वास फाक्ता हो चुका था।

आपके कहने का मतलब? मैंने संजीदा होते हुए पूछा।बड़े सधे अंदाज में सेकुलरदास ने बोलना शुरू किया-भाई अव्वल तो 'आप' की सरकार बनने से रही। अगर बन भी गई तो इस बार आमोखास की सेवा में ऐसे डूबेगी कि सेकुलर-कम्युनल और हिन्दू-मुस्लिम के लिए किसी के पास फुर्सत न होगी।

'तब तो बड़ी अच्छी बात होगी', मैंने टोकते हुए जोड़ा।
वे फिर बोले -देखो, तुमलोग हमें क्या समझोगे। हमलोग सेकुलर-कम्युनल के रथ पर सवार हो नौकरी पाए।इस-उस पार्टी के लोगों के चक्कर लगा
सत्ता के करीब हो लिए।बिना किसी काम- धाम के अपना सिक्का जम गया।लेकिन इसी बीच इंटरनेट-मोबाइल-अन्ना-आप और मोदी ने आकर काम बिगाड़ दिया।ये सब काम करवाने वाले हैं और हमारी काम की आदत नहीं रही।

मैं मुँह बाए उनको सुन रहा था।
वे बिना रूके बोलते रहे-हम तो सेकुलर-कम्युनल और हिन्दू-मुस्लिम के सहारे रिटायर होने का सपना देख रहे थे। हमें क्या नहीं मालूम कि भारत या कोई भी देश अपने बहुमत की बदौलत अच्छा या बुरा बनता है।आज जो भी अच्छा  है  उसमें हिन्दुओं का रोल बड़ा है।कश्मीर तो मुसलमान बहुल है।क्या हाल हो गया वहाँ का? पाकिस्तान के अंदरूनी कलह का निर्यात केन्द्र बन कर रह गया है।

एकाएक उनका ध्यान घड़ी की ओर गया।रात के नौ बज रहे थे।बोले-आज मैं तुम्हें रूकने के लिए भी नहीं कह सकता।दोनों कामरेड यहां जिमने वाले हैं।कोई अमेरिका से कोन्यक की दो बोतलें लेते आया था।और हाँ, हो सके कभी कभार आ जाना। तुम्हारा झूठ तुम्हारे सचमुच के सार्वजनिक टंटे से कहीं सुकून देनेवाला है।
मैंने चुटकी ली-मुझे किसी ने यहां देख लिया तो? बंदानवाज़ सेकुलरदास इस बार अधरोष्ठों में मुस्कराये-अरे, कोई नहीं।मैं तो लेनिन की लाइन फाॅलो कर रहा था: एक कदम पीछे, दो कदम आगे।

10 सवाल:इस्लाम के नाम पर हिंसा

अगर आप गूगल पर सर्च करें तो आपको पता चलेगा कि दुनिया में होने वाली अधिकांश हिंसक घटनाएं इस्लाम के नाम पर हो रही हैं. इससे यहां पर कुछ सवाल उठते हैं जो जल्द जवाब मांगते हैं-
1. ऐसे कितने इस्लामिक देश हैं जिन्होंने गाजा हमले की तरह पेशावर हमले, पेरिस गोली कांड और बोकोहरम के नरसंहार की हमेशा निंदा की हो?
2. फ्रेंच पत्रिका चार्ली एब्दो के पत्रकारों और कार्टूनिस्टों की हत्या के बाद बहुत से इस्लामी साइबर ग्रुप सामने आए, जिन्होंने स्लोगन दिया- मैं मुस्लिम हूं, चार्ली नहीं. ऐसे में भारत और उसके बाहर ऐसे कितने मुस्लिम संगठन या बुद्धिजीवी हैं जिन्होंने इसके विरुद्ध जाने का माद्दा दिखाया?
3. फ्रेंच स्कूलों में पढ़ने वाले मुस्लिम बच्चों ने उनके माता-पिता के कहने पर चार्ली एब्दो हमले में मारे गए लोगों के लिए 2 मिनट का मौन रखने से इनकार कर दिया. ऐसे में इस्लाम को शांति का मजहब बताने वाले कितने संगठनों ने बच्चों के मन में इस तरह का जहर न घोलने की बात उठाई?
4. क्या कोई गैर-मुस्लिम अपनी धार्मिक पुस्तक के मुताबिक राज कायम कराने के लिए बच्चों का कत्ल करता है?
5. पिछले पांच वर्षों में इस्लाम के नाम पर मारे गए लोगों की संख्या की तुलना किसी और धर्म के नाम पर मारे गए लोगों से की जा सकती है?
6. इस्लामी देशों में लोकतांत्रिक कितने हैं?
7. कितने मुस्लिम बहुल देश हैं जो इस्लामिक न होकर लोकतांत्रिक हैं?
8. कितनी बार इस्लाम में सुधार के लिए अंदरूनी तौर पर आवाजें उठी हैं?
9. क्या वो सुधार समय की कसौटी पर खरा उतरा?
10. क्या इस्लामी समाज में आधुनिक मध्यम वर्ग के मूल्यों से तालमेल बैठाने की क्षमता है?

10 Qs : Violence in the Name of ISLAM

A simple Google search tells you that globally most of the violence is carried out in the name of Islam. This raises a few questions that beg immediate answers:

1. How many Islamic nations have condemned Peshawar Attack, Paris Shooting   , ISIS ,  Boko Haram genocides  the way they routinely do Ghaza killings?
2. In the aftermath of the killing of cartoonists and journalists of French Cartoon Magazine Charlie Hebdo, many Islamic cyber groups came up with the slogan:I am Muslim, not Charlie. How many Muslims groups/ intellectuals in India and abroad have taken exception to this? 
3. The Muslim children in French Schools, on the advise of their parents, refused to observe two-minute silence in memory of those killed in the office of Charlie Hebdo. How many groups, known for their advocacy of Islam as Religion of Peace,  did raise the issue of poisoning the young minds at such an impressionable age? 
4. Where all non-Muslims have gone killing innocent children to press for 'rule as per their Holy Book' ? 
5. Globally, in the last five years, how do those killed in the name of Islam compare with those killed in the name of all other #Faiths put together? 
6. What is the ratio of Islamic countries with democracy to that of those without democracy? 
7. How many countries with Muslim-majority populations are not Islamic countries but just democracies?
8. How many times has Islam responded to calls of Liberal Reform from within?
9. Have the Reforms survived the test of time?
10. Are the Islamic societies amenable to the modern middle class values?
